Yin-yang flail forging and confusion debuffs
Crafted at an Orichalcum or Mythril Anvil using 1 Dark Shard, 1 Light Shard, 7 Soul of Night, and 7 Soul of Light, the Dao of Pow represents balance between light and dark energies. This heavy flail can be spun continuously around the player to deflect incoming threats, or launched outward to crush targets. Striking an enemy has a chance to inflict the Confused debuff, causing them to wander away helplessly.
Early Hardmode crowd control and godly prefix
Dealing 50 base melee damage with hefty 6 knockback, the flail provides vital crowd control in early Hardmode before mechanical bosses are conquered. Spinning the spiked head creates an active perimeter that stops charging bats and zombies cold. Because flails cannot receive speed prefixes, Legendary is unattainable. Godly is the premier reforge, supplying maximum damage, critical probability, and knockback bonuses.
Trivia
- The weapon is styled after the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang, symbolized by its dual-toned design.
- Its tooltip 'Find your inner pieces' is a comedic pun referencing inner peace and weapon shrapnel.
