Because Amethyst deposits appear frequently in shallow underground layers, this gem carriage serves as an accessible early cosmetic upgrade for spelunkers. Combining the cart requires fifteen amethyst crystals, which can also be cultivated through amethyst gemcorn orchards planted on cavern stone to supply sustainable gem yields.

When rolling along railway tracks, the cart sheds bright purple gemstone sparkles along its path. The particle emission casts steady ambient lighting, helping riders spot upcoming chasms, ore clusters, boulder traps, and track switches in dark caverns. It achieves standard minecart acceleration and responds smoothly to track switches, wooden platforms, bumper tracks, and mechanical rail upgrades throughout extensive subterranean networks. The violet particle trail creates an appealing visual path that helps miners keep track of their position within maze-like cavern networks.
