Witch's Broom

Pumpkin Moon drop and doorway clearance

The Witch's Broom drops from Mourning Wood during the Pumpkin Moon event in Expert Mode or Master Mode, reaching up to a 20% drop rate in later waves. It summons a mystical broomstick that grants infinite flight and stationary hovering. Unlike other flying mounts that expand the player's hitbox, the broom has zero height boost, preserving the rider's standard three-tile height.

Hovering mobility for builder arenas

Because the rider retains normal character height, the Witch's Broom can navigate through standard doorways and narrow three-block corridors without forcing a dismount. It cruises at a steady 46 mph horizontally and vertically, allowing precise mid-air positioning. Players frequently favor the broom over late-game options like the Cosmic Car Key due to its tighter collision profile and fluid handling when building complex arenas and dodging projectiles.

Trivia

• Because it lacks a height penalty, the player can fly straight through ordinary three-tile high doors.
• The broom is an Expert Mode exclusive drop from Mourning Wood during late Pumpkin Moon waves.
