Rare jungle drop breastplate and magic power
Dropped by Hornet and Man Eater enemies in the Underground Jungle with a 0.33% chance, the Ancient Cobalt Breastplate grants 6 defense. It increases maximum mana by 20 and boosts magic damage by 6%. This rare armor piece matches the stats and appearance of Jungle Shirt, providing an uncrafted avenue to obtain early magic torso protection while exploring the subterranean jungle.
Alternative set path and pre-hardmode expedition value
This breastplate pairs directly with Ancient Cobalt Helmet and Ancient Cobalt Leggings, or standard Jungle Hat and Jungle Pants, to activate the 16% mana discount set bonus. Finding this drop saves players from collecting 16 Jungle Spores and 10 Stingers. The combination of mana capacity and damage amplification makes it a reliable asset when confronting Skeletron and exploring the dungeon.
Trivia
