Donning this cowl with Hallowed plate mail and greaves activates Holy Protection, granting temporary hit immunity after attacking a foe. Because summoner gear generally suffers from lower base defense, the periodic dodge shield provides crucial protection against sudden boss charges, allowing players to focus on whip positioning and minion commanding without fearing immediate defeat from a single mistimed dodge during chaotic encounters.
