Ancient Hallowed Mask

Ancient warrior plating and melee speed bonuses

Crafted from Hallowed Bar ingots at an altar or converted from a modern Hallowed Mask in Shimmer, this mask grants 24 defense. It provides a 10% increase to melee damage, melee critical strike chance, and melee weapon attack speed, empowering warriors who favor close-quarters swordplay, flails, and spear thrusts.

Close-quarters damage immunity and tanking resilience

Equipping this mask alongside Hallowed or Ancient Hallowed plate mail and greaves unlocks the Holy Protection set bonus. Upon landing a hit on an enemy, the wearer gains a protective barrier that negates the next received attack with a 30-second cooldown. Combining high armor with periodic damage negation makes it a dependable choice for frontline boss tanking, allowing players to trade blows safely and anchor combat positions. Its melee speed amplification directly benefits true melee blades and spears, allowing players to land continuous blows that refresh their defensive protection safely.
