This specialized equipment grants multi-directional swimming, greatly extends underwater breath capacity, and emits ambient illumination that intensifies into a vibrant glow when submerged in liquid. Furthermore, it incorporates ice mobility, preventing character sliding on slick ice blocks and stopping fragile thin ice platforms from breaking upon impact during cavern descents.

Subterranean ocean exploration and traction utility

Arctic Diving Gear combines deep underwater exploration features with Snow biome footing stability. Compared to Frog Gear or Neptune's Shell, it provides built-in lighting and protection against crumbling ice hazards in flooded tundra caverns. This setup allows sustained underwater mining without drinking Gills Potions or deploying glowsticks into submerged pits across treacherous ice biomes. Reforging the gear to Warding provides reliable defense against subterranean predators, while Quick enhances overall movement speed across frozen caverns.
