| Papyrus Scarab | 1 × Necromantic Scroll, 1 × Hercules Beetle | Tinkerer's Workshop |
Tinkerer fusion and minion combat enhancements
Constructed at a Tinkerer's Workshop by combining the Necromantic Scroll with the Hercules Beetle, the Papyrus Scarab serves as an elite specialized accessory for summoners. It raises the user's maximum minion capacity by 1, boosts minion damage by 15%, and noticeably increases minion knockback to keep aggressive foes pushed back. These beneficial enhancements apply to all summoned minions and sentries, augmenting overall minion effectiveness. Having elevated knockback prevents fast-moving cavern enemies from penetrating past defensive minion lines.
Summoner accessory stacking and menacing prefix
A major strength of the Papyrus Scarab is that its bonuses stack alongside its component items. Dedicated summoners frequently equip the Papyrus Scarab alongside an additional Necromantic Scroll and Hercules Beetle at the same time, securing +2 total minion slots and compounding damage bonuses for summons like the Stardust Dragon Staff or Terraprisma. Reforging it to Menacing adds another 4% damage across all active minions.
Trivia
- Its stat bonuses stack directly with both the Necromantic Scroll and Hercules Beetle when worn together.
- It combines drops from the Pumpkin Moon invasion and the jungle Witch Doctor into a single compact slot.
