Queen bee spoils and minion leadership
Fashioned at an Iron Anvil or Lead Anvil with 8 Bee Wax, the Bee Headgear grants 4 defense. It provides a 4% increase to summon damage and expands minion capacity by +1 slot. Defeating Queen Bee inside larval hives yields enough wax to construct this headpiece, giving summoners immediate swarm control upgrades before confronting other major bosses. The low wax requirement enables players to craft this protective helm after their very first hive victory.
Swarm synergy and dungeon exploration
Combining this helmet with the Bee Breastplate and Bee Greaves raises total minion slots by 2 and adds a set bonus of 10% summon damage. This bonus stack enables summoners to command multiple minions simultaneously while wielding whips like the Snapthorn. The resulting firepower handles crowded corridors in the Dungeon and clears wandering demons in the Underworld prior to fighting the Wall of Flesh.
