Bee Greaves

Hive harvesting and summon amplification

Produced at an Iron Anvil or Lead Anvil using 10 Bee Wax, Bee Greaves contribute 4 defense. Wearing these greaves increases summon damage by 5%. Sourcing the wax demands defeating Queen Bee within the Underground Jungle, rewarding players with dedicated summoner footwear during an era of progression where summoner armor pieces are scarce. Because pre-Hardmode summoner equipment is limited, these leggings serve as the primary leg armor option for minion commanders throughout early boss encounters.

Set completion and progression viability

Equipping these leggings alongside the Bee Headgear and Bee Breastplate unlocks a 10% summon damage set bonus, elevating total summon damage amplification across the set to 33% alongside +2 minion slots. Summoners rely on these greaves to empower minions such as the Hornet Staff or Imp Staff throughout late pre-Hardmode, carrying the gear until early Hardmode when Spider Greaves become available.
