Bee wax crafting and minion capacity
Crafted at an Iron Anvil or Lead Anvil using 12 Bee Wax, the Bee Breastplate provides 5 defense. This chestplate raises summon damage by 4% and grants +1 minion slot. Acquiring the necessary wax requires defeating Queen Bee inside underground bee hives, giving summoners access to specialized armor tailored toward expanding their early companion swarms. Minion-focused adventurers can craft it after a single successful hive triumph, establishing an early foundation for dedicated summoner builds.
Summoner set synergy and boss readiness
When worn alongside the Bee Headgear and Bee Greaves, the complete ensemble awards a set bonus of 10% additional summon damage, reaching a combined total of 33% increased minion potency and +2 extra minion slots. Compared to the Flinx Fur Coat, this breastplate contributes higher defensive resilience, preparing summoners for confrontations against Skeletron and the Wall of Flesh when directing the Imp Staff.
