Falling icicle storm and Ice Queen drop
Obtained by defeating the Ice Queen during the Frost Moon event, the Blizzard Staff projects a focused barrage of frozen projectiles directly toward the cursor. Firing at a use time of 10, it consumes 9 mana per attack to rain down sharp icicles from the sky. Each falling icicle delivers 58 base magic damage with 4.5 knockback, generating concentrated single-target pressure on large foes.
Open arena casting and mana sustain
Because icicles spawn above the visible view and descend diagonally, solid ceilings or underground tunnels intercept the projectiles before they reach targets, requiring open-air arenas. The continuous rate of fire drains mana rapidly, making items like Celestial Cuffs or Magnet Flower essential during prolonged boss fights. Equipping Spectre Mask causes the barrage to spawn homing soul bolts. The premier prefix is Mythical.
Trivia
- Falling icicle projectiles emit soft white light and descend at high velocity from above the screen boundary.
- Similar to Lunar Flare, this weapon attacks from above the player rather than projecting forward from the character.
