It offers 18 defense, expands maximum mana by 60 points, cuts spell mana costs by 13%, and raises magic damage and critical strike rate by 10%. These individual stat increases allow spellcasters to sustain prolonged casting rotations against tough post-Plantera adversaries.

Homing spectral orb volleys and high-damage loadouts

Equipping this headgear with the Spectre Robe and Spectre Pants unlocks a destructive set bonus. Magic attacks that strike targets spawn spectral soul orbs that seek out hostile foes, detonating on contact without expending extra mana. This offensive trait pairs smoothly with fast-firing or tracking sorcery weapons such as Razorblade Typhoon, Nightglow, or Heat Ray to clear dungeon rooms and defeat Duke Fishron.
