The North Pole is a Hardmode spear dropped by the Ice Queen during the Frost Moon event. When thrust, it launches a glowing spear projectile that travels horizontally across the screen without suffering from gravitational drop. As this spear projectile glides forward, it continuously sheds falling snowflakes that drift gently downward, damaging every enemy they contact.

Skyward blanket bombardment and stationary boss melting

Aiming the North Pole straight up into the sky creates a dense canopy of descending snowflakes that blanket the battleground below. This blizzard effect inflicts continuous multi-hit damage against broad targets like Plantera or event hordes. Pairing the weapon with Beetle Scale Mail and Fire Gauntlet ramps up snowflake impact. Because spear projectile weapons cannot gain size modifiers from Legendary, the best modifier is Godly.
