Boreal Wood Greaves

Snowfield timber assembly and lower body shielding

Constructed at a Work Bench using 25 Boreal Wood pieces, the Boreal Wood Greaves add 1 defense to the player's lower body. Equipping these boots in conjunction with the Boreal Wood Helmet and Boreal Wood Breastplate completes the three-piece ensemble, activating a set bonus that provides +1 defense to achieve 4 defense overall.

Starter wood balancing and snow biome traversal

Greaves represent the second most expensive component of wooden armor sets, requiring 25 lumber pieces. Compared to dangerous expeditions into the Jungle for Rich Mahogany Greaves or the Corruption for Ebonwood Greaves, clearing northern pines is relatively peaceful. The resulting 4 total defense from the full set gives early explorers sufficient mitigation against basic slimes and wandering surface zombies.

Trivia

• Crafting any wooden greaves variant requires 25 timber units at a simple work bench.
• Wearing the complete boreal outfit grants an extra +1 defense set bonus.
