| Palm Wood Helmet | 20 × Palm Wood | Work Bench |
Tropical timber carving and tribal headwear defense
Shaped at a Work Bench using 20 Palm Wood logs, the Palm Wood Helmet grants 1 defense in the head slot. Pairing this carved cap with a Palm Wood Breastplate and Palm Wood Greaves activates a set bonus granting +1 defense, elevating overall protection across the entire armor set to 4 defense.
Surface timber options and distinct tribal aesthetics
Fashioned with a distinct tropical face-mask aesthetic, this helmet offers a stylish visual alternative to the plain Wood Helmet or chilly Boreal Wood Helmet. Requiring only 20 logs, it can be created immediately upon reaching any desert oasis or ocean border. While it lacks offensive boosts or high defense, it offers adequate starting mitigation against slimes and surface critters.
Trivia
- Features a carved wooden face-mask appearance unique among the early game wooden helmets.
- Replanting acorns on sand surfaces allows players to cultivate sustainable palm tree plantations.
