Boreal Wood Helmet

Northern pine shaping and rustic cranial defense

Fashioned at a Work Bench from 20 Boreal Wood pieces, the Boreal Wood Helmet provides 1 defense for the head slot. Uniting this cap with the Boreal Wood Breastplate and Boreal Wood Greaves activates a set bonus granting +1 defense, bringing the complete protective suit to 4 defense across all three slots.

Early headgear options and surface gathering routes

With a modest cost of 20 logs, this cap offers an accessible entry point to armor crafting before copper or iron veins can be located. While Cactus Helmet or Ebonwood Helmet exist as alternatives, cutting down snow trees avoids aggressive desert vultures and corruption flyers. It shares identical protective numbers with a standard Wood Helmet and Palm Wood Helmet.

Trivia

• Requires 20 logs gathered from boreal trees growing across snow and ice terrain.
• Displays a fur-trimmed northern cap aesthetic when worn in the helmet slot.
