Crystal Assassin Pants

Crystalline trousers and heightened athletic swiftness

Obtained as a drop from Queen Slime in the Hallow with a 33.33% chance, Crystal Assassin Pants provides 10 defense. It provides a 20% increase to movement speed alongside a 10% boost to melee swing speed. This significant ground velocity bonus makes traversing arenas and dodging enemy attacks noticeably smoother during challenging mid-game encounters, especially when paired with wings, mobility boots, or swiftness potions.

Evasive dash synergy and accessory slot economy

Completing the full set alongside the matching hood and shirt grants a built-in omnidirectional dash and 10% universal damage and critical strike increases. Because the armor set itself provides a dedicated dash, players can omit dash accessories like the Shield of Cthulhu, freeing an accessory slot for defensive cross necklaces or offensive damage emblems during progression battles against the mechanical bosses.
