Gelatinous Pillion

Queen Slime conquest and winged gelatin

The Gelatinous Pillion is dropped by Queen Slime with a one in four drop rate in Classic mode, or obtained from her Treasure Bag in Expert mode. Queen Slime is summoned in the Hallow by using a Gelatin Crystal gathered from underground pearlstone caverns. Defeating this crystalline sovereign rewards players with an upgraded version of the Pre-Hardmode slime saddle, equipped with iridescent angelic wings.

Hybrid flight bursts and enemy stomping

The Winged Slime mount combines ground bouncing with active winged flight. Pressing and holding jump allows the mount to flutter upward for a brief duration, giving players mid-air maneuvering to dodge boss projectiles. Landing on top of enemies deals contact bounce damage while launching the player high into the air. Holding the down button triggers a fast downward plunge that speeds up cavern descents, while floating smoothly on top of water, lava, and honey surfaces.

Trivia

• The Gelatinous Pillion allows the player to float on all liquid surfaces without taking lava damage while remaining on top.
• Bouncing atop an enemy grants brief invulnerability frames similar to the Pre-Hardmode Slimy Saddle.
