Angler crate salvage and swift continuous slashes
The Falcon Blade is retrieved from Iron Crates and Mythril Crates hauled up while fishing in any body of water, dropping with a 6.25% chance. This pre-Hardmode broadsword deals 25 base melee damage per swipe. Unlike basic crafted shortswords and metal broadswords, it features native continuous swinging right out of the crate, slashing in a broad frontal arc that easily sweeps flying demon eyes and charging zombies away from the player.
Early surface defense and progression utility
Attacking with a Very fast use time of 20 ticks and high base knockback of 6, the blade offers outstanding defensive protection throughout early surface exploration. It bypasses the need to mine early copper, iron, or silver veins for basic melee armaments. While it lacks the sheer reach of Muramasa or the flame burst of Volcano, it carries an early explorer comfortably through the Eye of Cthulhu battle. Reforging it to Legendary provides optimal enhancements to attack speed, critical chance, and weapon scale.
