Brewing Early Stinger Imbues
The Flask of Poison is created at an Imbuing Station using one Bottled Water and a single Stinger. Players can unlock the imbuing station as soon as Queen Bee is defeated by purchasing it from the Witch Doctor for 7 gold. Once consumed, it bestows the Weapon Imbue: Poison buff for 20 minutes, applying to melee weapons and whips.
Pre-Hardmode Damage Over Time
Attacks delivered while under the effect inflict the Poisoned debuff for 3 to 6 seconds on hit. Poisoned deals 2 damage per second and halts the natural health regeneration of affected targets. Because stingers drop plentifully from Hornets in the Underground Jungle, this flask serves as an accessible early enhancement for clearing the Underworld and tackling the Wall of Flesh.
