Distilling Post-Plantera Acid Venom

The Flask of Venom is prepared at an Imbuing Station by combining a Bottled Water with 5 units of Vial of Venom. Vials of Venom become available in the Witch Doctor's shop for 15 silver each after Plantera has fallen. Drinking the potion activates the Weapon Imbue: Venom enhancement for 20 minutes.

Late Hardmode Imbue Synergies

Every strike landed by melee arms or whips coats enemies in Acid Venom for 4 to 10 seconds. This potent affliction deals 30 damage per second and prevents health recovery on targets. The substantial damage over time makes this flask an outstanding upgrade over poison for late Hardmode boss encounters like Golem, Duke Fishron, and the celestial pillar legions.

  • Desktop update 1.4.0.1 enhanced the inflicted status from regular Venom to Acid Venom, substantially tripling its damage tick rate.
