Inverting gravitational pull for aerial flight
Brewed using Bottled Water, Fireblossom, Deathweed, Blinkroot, and a Feather, the Gravitation Potion grants flight control for 3 minutes. Pressing the Up directional key flips the character and camera upside down, sending the player falling upward into the sky layer at rapid speeds.
Scouting floating islands before obtaining wings
Inverting gravity allows pre-Hardmode characters to traverse the upper atmosphere and locate Floating Islands without constructing long dirt sky bridges or stacking ropes. By repeatedly pressing Up and Down in midair, players can glide horizontally across the map, dodging Harpies while searching for sky chests containing the Starfury and Lucky Horseshoe.
