Ghostar's Infinity Eight

Developer set roll rates and levitation parameters

Ghostar's Infinity Eight is found inside Hardmode boss Treasure Bags in Expert or Master Mode, having a 6.25% chance of rolling from the developer reward pool. Equipping this accessory provides 162 ft of flight elevation, 2.5 seconds of continuous thrust, and a horizontal flight speed reaching 36 mph. It protects the wearer from landing impact damage after high descents, removing the hazard of misjudging long platform drops.

Boss arena kiting and glowing geometric trails

The accessory gives fighters consistent airborne agility throughout mechanical boss engagements, allowing smooth horizontal repositioning over wide wooden platforms. Equipping Terraspark Boots enhances movement options by providing quick ground recovery when flight time depletes. When evading Skeletron Prime, circular flight arcs keep characters outside spinning limb hitboxes. Instead of using traditional organic feathers, the wings manifest as a luminous cosmic figure-eight hovering on the character's back, producing orbiting starlight particles during active flight.

Trivia

• Ghostar's Infinity Eight is dedicated to Whitney 'Ghostar' Spinks, vice president at Re-Logic.
