Safeman's Blanket Cape

Expert cache unboxing and cape flight attributes

Safeman's Blanket Cape is obtained from Hardmode boss Treasure Bags in Expert or Master Mode, rolling from the 6.25% developer set reward pool. Wearing the cape provides 162 ft of vertical altitude, 2.5 seconds of airborne thrust, and 36 mph horizontal speed, preventing all fall damage upon return to ground level. It turns any Hardmode boss reward cache into a potential source of endgame-viable flight.

Mid-game arena dodging and checkered blanket folds

Providing solid agility during confrontations against Skeletron Prime and solar eclipse monstrosities, the cape allows players to drift smoothly over hazard zones. Equipping Terraspark Boots enhances horizontal positioning between flight cycles. When facing The Destroyer, hovering above ground level prevents getting caught in body coil traps. Visually, the cape consists of a cozy checkered quilt folded over the shoulders, fluttering gently as the character levitates through the air.

Trivia
