Hallowed Mimic drops and descending celestial arrows

Dropped by the Hallowed Mimic with a 25% drop rate, encountered in the Underground Hallow or summoned using a Key of Light in an empty chest. Instead of launching arrows forward from the wielder, this bow calls down a rain of arrows from the sky towards the cursor at a Very fast speed (use time 19). Each volley fires multiple falling projectiles while consuming only 1 arrow, dealing 38 base ranged damage with 2.25 knockback.

Mechanical boss dominance and open arena requirements

This weapon is renowned for defeating early Hardmode mechanical bosses, particularly The Destroyer. When paired with Holy Arrow ammunition, each arrow collision spawns falling stars that create a dense cascade across multi-segmented targets. It also handles Skeletron Prime effectively using Ichor Arrow or Cursed Arrow. However, solid ceilings block incoming arrows, making open sky arenas mandatory. Unreal provides the premier modifier.
