Lime String

Ocean kelp foraging and neon dye weaving

Crafted at a Dye Vat from a White String and Lime Dye, harvested from submerged Lime Kelp along coastal seabeds. Equipping the cord extends yoyo reach by four to five blocks, granting melee combatants improved standoff capability against swift cavern bats, charging tortoises, and blood crawlers. Gathering lime kelp during early coastal excursions allows players to dye their string without gold costs, giving aspiring melee fighters a bright weapon modification.

Cavern combat visibility and vivid string tracking

The extra distance allows players to poke around protective dungeon doorways and eliminate trapped skeletons before breaching hazardous rooms. The bright neon-lime line stands out against dark rock backgrounds, making projectile tracking straightforward during hectic cave fights. In vanity slots, it recolors functional yoyo cords to electric lime, giving warriors high-contrast visibility when fighting inside dimly lit chambers or during chaotic goblin army invasions where projectile clarity is paramount.

Trivia

• Lime Kelp grows naturally on underwater ocean sand along the outer edges of the world.
• The vivid neon tint makes tracking yoyo placement simpler inside unlit caverns and dim dungeons.
