The Magic Missile is looted from Locked Gold Chests inside the Dungeon or fished from post-Skeletron Dungeon Crates. It casts an azure energy projectile costing 14 mana at Fast speed (22 use time), dealing 35 base magic damage with 7.5 knockback. Holding the attack button lets players steer the missile directly with the cursor; releasing the button launches it forward, where it homes toward nearby hostiles and detonates on impact.
Hardmode Sky Fracture synthesis and prefix selection
Controllable projectile guidance allows players to safely scout dark corridors and strike around corners without exposing themselves to retaliation. In early Hardmode, it upgrades into the powerful Sky Fracture when forged at an anvil with Light Shards and Souls of Light.
