| Molten Helmet | 10 × Hellstone Bar | Iron Anvil |
Hellstone-forged helm and pre-hardmode armor peak
Constructed from 10 Hellstone Bar ingots at an Iron Anvil or Lead Anvil, the Molten Helmet grants 8 defense. It provides a 7% increase to melee critical strike chance. Boasting the highest defense of any pre-hardmode helmet, this piece is standard equipment for close-quarters warriors preparing to challenge the Wall of Flesh in the underworld and withstand hard-hitting hellish monsters.
Melee set damage and flame immunity
Worn together with Molten Breastplate and Molten Greaves, the armor totals 25 defense and triggers a set bonus granting 17% increased melee damage along with immunity to the On Fire! debuff. This protection guards warriors against fiery traps, lava slimes, and hellish enemy attacks, letting players swing weapons like Night's Edge or Sunfury safely during intense underworld brawls before stepping forward into hardmode.
