The Palladium Waraxe is a dual-function logging tool and heavy melee weapon assembled from 12 Palladium Bar ingots at an Iron Anvil or Lead Anvil. Delivering 36 base melee damage and 5.5 knockback, its broad swing arc repels surface monsters while gathering resources. Its 75% axe power fells forest timber, rich mahogany, and pearlwood trees in clean succession.
Two-handed swinging cadence and bar crafting costs
Compared to the Palladium Chainsaw, the waraxe offers superior spatial defense by swinging in a wide arc that bats away approaching enemies. It also scales with melee speed modifiers from armor and accessories. Rolling the Light prefix maximizes swing frequency for lumberjacking, while Legendary boosts damage and critical strikes for combat utility.
