 Wand of Frosting | 1 × Wand of Sparking, 99 × Ice Torch | By hand |
Surface chest salvaging and low mana spark casting
Discovered inside Wooden Chests resting across the surface or fished from Wooden Crates, the Wand of Sparking represents the entry-level magic weapon for aspiring spellcasters. Casting arcing embers for 14 magic damage at an efficient cost of 2 mana per burst, the sparks arc downward with gravity and frequently ignite targets with the On Fire! debuff. It also boasts a boosted base 14% critical strike chance. The lingering fire damage rapidly wears down tough early foes like armored skeletons and zombies.
Starter mage utility and frosting wand upgrade
Operating with an 26 use time delivering Average casts, the wand provides safe ranged harassment against surface zombies and demon eyes during initial nights. While its falling sparks struggle across long distances compared to straight-flying gem staves, its low mana consumption allows continuous casting without drinking mana potions. Players can combine this wand with ninety-nine Ice Torches by hand to craft the Wand of Frosting. Mythical provides its best reforge.
Trivia
- The arcing sparks emitted by the wand pierce through submerged water without immediately extinguishing.
