Yoyo Bag

Tinkerer assembly and triple-tier yoyo amplification

Assembled at a Tinkerer's Workshop by combining a Yoyo Glove with a Strung Counterweight, the Yoyo Bag is the premier yoyo accessory in Terraria. It spawns a duplicate yoyo alongside the primary weapon, releases two orbiting counterweights upon striking enemies, and extends string reach and flight duration. These combined features dramatically increase total damage output and crowd coverage during intense encounters against boss minions and invasion hordes across all difficulty modes.

Endgame yoyo dominance and Magic Yoyo Bag evolution

This accessory doubles the hit frequency and crowd coverage of melee yoyo builds, making weapons like the Terrarian devastating during the Lunar Events. It upgrades in Terraria 1.4.5 into the Magic Yoyo Bag when combined with Magic String at a Tinkerer's Workshop. Menacing is the optimal reforge for maximizing damage output per hit, while Warding adds 4 defense for survivability in close melee combat.

Trivia

• The secondary yoyo mirrors the base damage, critical strike chance, and projectile bursts of the primary yoyo.
• In 1.4.5, crafting the bag requires the pre-assembled Strung Counterweight rather than separate strings.
