Floating broadswords of the underground hallow
The Enchanted Sword is a flying magical blade that drifts through the Underground Hallow during Hardmode. Carrying 200 life and 18 defense, it phases through solid blocks to strike players with 80 contact damage in Classic, scaling to 160 in Expert and 240 in Master. It periodically pauses in mid-air, spins in a blur of light particles, and lunges forward at high velocity.
Interrupting charges and the nazar drop
Striking the Enchanted Sword during its spin-up animation resets its forward momentum, making high-knockback broadswords like the Excalibur effective at repelling its charges. Slaying this floating blade offers a 1% chance to obtain the Nazar, an immunity accessory for the Ankh Shield that prevents the Cursed debuff, alongside the rare Crystallize food buff at 0.5%.
Trivia
- It shares its spinning charge attack pattern with the Crimson Axe and Cursed Hammer.
- Defeating it contributes toward farming the Nazar in worlds lacking underground evil biome spawns.
