Early Hardmode Hallow crafting and basic flight

Crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil using 10 Feather, 20 Soul of Flight, and 15 Soul of Light. Angel Wings represent one of the initial craftable flight accessories available upon entering Hardmode, requiring feathers from surface Harpies, souls from Sky wyverns, and light souls harvested from Underground Hallow enemies. They provide an early gateway into true vertical flight without relying on luck.

Mobility upgrades and mechanical boss arena setup

Supplying 100 ticks of flight duration, 104 ft of vertical climb, and 32 mph horizontal speed, Angel Wings eliminate fall damage and replace double-jump accessories. This basic flight enables players to leap over The Destroyer segments and avoid ground-level laser traps while constructing wide sky platforms for mechanical boss battles. While later wings offer longer hover times, Angel Wings remain a foundational stepping stone that eases early Hardmode cave exploration and cliff climbing.
