Underground Jungle moth hunting and dust harvesting
Crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil using 1 Butterfly Dust and 20 Soul of Flight. Butterfly Dust drops from Moth enemies in the Underground Jungle with a high 50% drop rate. Because Moths spawn in deep jungle caverns, exploring with a Lifeform Analyzer helps spot them quickly, making the dust relatively fast to obtain once a moth appears in the area.
Mid-Hardmode aerial mobility and mechanical boss tactics
Supplying 160 ticks of flight duration, 162 ft of vertical climb, and 38 mph horizontal speed, Butterfly Wings serve as a reliable mid-Hardmode traversal tool. The generous flight window helps players kite The Twins across sky bridges and leap over Skeletron Prime spin charges without getting trapped against terrain. Their smooth gliding motion makes them a favorite for acrobatic dodging strategies during challenging nighttime boss encounters.
