Fang-forged greaves and offensive minion power
Assembled from 12 Spider Fang items at an Iron Anvil or Lead Anvil, Spider Greaves grant 7 defense. This leg armor expands maximum minion capacity by 1 and increases summon damage by 6%. It offers the highest individual summon damage percentage among the three Spider Armor components, rewarding players who brave cobwebbed spider nests early in hardmode to battle aggressive arachnids.
Arachnid weapon pairing and survivability tradeoffs
When worn alongside Spider Mask and Spider Breastplate, these greaves contribute to the set bonus that grants 12% additional minion damage. This allows weapons like Spider Staff and Queen Spider Staff to inflict heavy sustained damage on ground and airborne targets while climbing background walls. Compared to ore greaves, Spider Greaves trade defense for minion numbers and specialized summoner potency.
