Underground Jungle hornet hunting and crafting
Crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil using 1 Tattered Bee Wing and 20 Soul of Flight. The ingredient drops from Moss Hornet foes in the Underground Jungle with a 1% chance in Classic mode and 1.5% in Expert mode. Defeating these stingers while exploring jungle caverns yields the material needed for forging without waiting for post-Plantera progression milestones, giving explorers an early jungle upgrade path.
Flight performance and subterranean maneuvering
Providing 160 ticks of flight time, a vertical ceiling of 162 ft, and 38 mph horizontal speed, Bee Wings grant solid aerial agility for mid-Hardmode challenges. The extended airtime simplifies traversing broad underground chasms and lets adventurers maneuver around Queen Slime projectiles or The Twins during nighttime arena fights. Pairing them with honey-related equipment complements insect-themed summoner and ranger loadouts, adding stylistic flair to functional mobility.
Trivia
