Tattered Fairy Wings

Pumpking boss drop and dark wing forging

Crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil by combining 1 Black Fairy Dust with 20 Soul of Flight. Black Fairy Dust is obtained by defeating Pumpking during the Pumpkin Moon invasion, scaling up to a 20% drop chance in later waves. These wings offer an ominous, ragged aesthetic alongside high-tier event performance, serving as an attractive upgrade for players completing autumn invasion challenges.

Airborne endurance for late-game combat

Featuring 180 ticks of flight time, a vertical reach of 182 ft, and a horizontal speed of 38 mph, Tattered Fairy Wings provide generous airborne stamina. This flight duration allows players to circle high above Martian Saucer death rays and maintain altitude while dodging Lunatic Cultist ice projectiles without touching the ground. Reforging them with mobility or defensive modifiers complements agile boss-kiting setups, giving players sustained flight control through late-game boss encounters.

Trivia
