Leaf Wings

Witch Doctor nighttime commerce in the Jungle

Purchased for 1 platinum coin from the Witch Doctor NPC at night while his housing is situated in a Jungle biome, exclusively after defeating Plantera in Hardmode. Because they require no rare monster drops or anvil crafting, Leaf Wings serve as an immediate purchase for players seeking dependable flight upgrades after conquering the Jungle boss without relying on unpredictable drop probabilities.

Reliable post-Plantera aerial traversal

Offering 160 ticks of flight time, 162 ft of vertical climb, and 38 mph horizontal speed, Leaf Wings furnish balanced flight capabilities for navigating cavern systems and surface battlegrounds. Their reliable availability bypasses the random drop farming needed for Eclipse or event wings, helping players swiftly prepare for Golem and the post-Plantera Dungeon. Pairing them with movement boots grants consistent traversal across extensive jungle terrain and cavern expanses.

Trivia

• In version 1.4.0 and later updates, the Witch Doctor requires Plantera to be defeated before selling Leaf Wings.
• Leaf Wings cost 1 platinum coin, which can be discounted by optimizing Witch Doctor happiness.
