Recovered from Frozen Chest containers within the icy underground tundra or found inside Boreal Crate catches, the Blizzard in a Bottle grants an airborne double jump. Activating the jump releases a burst of frosty snowflakes that propels the character 24 feet upward, reaching higher than the basic cloud jump. It can also be fabricated at a Solidifier using a Cloud in a Bottle and a Frost Core. The extra height helps players leap across wide ravines without placing blocks.
Balloon assembly and aerial maneuvers
Taking the bottle to a Tinkerer's Workshop alongside a Shiny Red Balloon produces the Blizzard in a Balloon. That upgraded balloon can subsequently be combined with its sandstorm and cloud equivalents to assemble the Bundle of Horseshoe Balloons. Triggering the blizzard jump right before landing resets falling momentum, protecting agile explorers from lethal impact damage when descending vertical ice shafts.
Trivia
The blizzard leap propels players higher than a cloud jump while producing decorative falling snow particles.
Crafting it at a Solidifier with a Frost Core gives players an alternate path if frozen chests lack one.
