Blizzard in a Balloon

Glacial jump acceleration and bottle combination

Crafted at a Tinkerer's Workshop using a Blizzard in a Bottle and a Shiny Red Balloon. The accessory boosts base jump height by 33% and bestows an energetic Blizzard mid-air jump. Holding the jump key discharges a continuous flurry of frost particles, propelling the character upward to reach approximately 30 blocks of vertical height from a standing start across frozen terrain.

Aerial bundle integration and early boss mobility

The Blizzard jump outpaces the standard Cloud jump in ascent speed and peak elevation, offering superior evasion against Queen Bee and Skeletron. It crafts into the White Horseshoe Balloon and serves as a pivotal ingredient for both Bundle of Balloons and Bundle of Horseshoe Balloons. Players often combine it with mobility boots and wings early in Hardmode until single-slot wings surpass multi-balloon ascent rates. Reforging to Menacing or Warding maximizes its early utility.

Trivia

• The Blizzard double jump produces distinctive falling snowflake visual particles during ascent.
• Ascending with this balloon reaches greater peak velocity than standard bottled jumps.
