Celestial Starboard

Moon Lord treasure acquisition and flight statistics

Dropped by the Moon Lord exclusively inside Treasure Bags on Expert Mode and Master Mode. The Celestial Starboard is the pinnacle wing accessory in Terraria. It provides 3 seconds of flight time alongside a 4.5x vertical ascent multiplier and reaches a maximum flight height of 205 tiles with rocket boost assistance. Landing impact damage is entirely negated, protecting players from fall injury during high-altitude maneuvers.

Multidirectional hovering and endgame flight mastery

Holding UP accelerates vertical lift with rapid rocket thrust, while pressing DOWN toggles multidirectional hovering. In hover mode, players can dash horizontally at speeds up to 84 mph, outrunning hostile attacks and projectile waves. Pairing this starboard with Soaring Insignia grants continuous flight duration at top velocity, transforming endgame combat maneuvering during intense battles against the daytime Empress of Light. This responsive control makes the starboard a preferred movement accessory for Master Mode boss challenges.
