Soaring Insignia

Empress flight mastery and infinite wing duration

Obtained exclusively from the Empress of Light Treasure Bag in Expert and Master Mode, the Soaring Insignia removes flight duration limits on all equipped wings. It also grants infinite thrust to Rocket Boots and their tinker upgrades when no wings are worn. In addition to boundless flight time, it provides +7.5% movement speed, a +1.8 jump speed boost, and increases run acceleration by 75%, making aerial maneuvering responsive.

Airborne mobility synergies for endgame boss fights

Uncapped flight transforms endgame boss encounters, enabling players to remain permanently airborne during battles against the Moon Lord or daytime Empress of Light. Pairing the insignia with high-velocity wings like the Celestial Starboard or Fishron Wings permits rapid horizontal dashes, vertical ascents, and mid-air hover maneuvers without landing to reset flight meters. This mobility makes dodging dense projectile barrages manageable on high difficulties.

Trivia

• The infinite flight effect applies to hover capabilities, allowing indefinite horizontal flight.
• Combining this accessory with the Celestial Starboard allows extreme horizontal flight speeds.
