Spear thrusts and drifting spore clouds
Assembled by hammering 12 Chlorophyte Bar pieces together at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil. The spear thrusts at a Fast rate (use time 23), delivering 49 base melee damage with 6.2 knockback. At the full extension of its thrust, the weapon generates a drifting spore cloud that floats forward, lingering in the air to repeatedly damage hostiles along its path.
Wall-piercing utility and spear rankings
Improving upon mid-tier polearms such as Gungnir and the Mushroom Spear, this partisan projects its secondary spore cloud directly through thin walls and platforms. This lets players attack aggressive subterranean creatures without leaving protected positions. It provides dependable utility when clearing narrow underground passageways or exploring dangerous biomes. While spears cannot receive the Legendary modifier, reforging to Godly yields the highest increases to damage, critical strike chance, and knockback.
Trivia
- The lingering spore cloud generated by the spear passes straight through solid tiles.
- Like all spears in Terraria, it cannot receive the Legendary modifier, making Godly its optimal reforge.
