The Blue Phasesaber is forged by infusing a Blue Phaseblade with 25 Crystal Shard items at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil. This process upgrades the pre-Hardmode sapphire blade into an energetic melee weapon that emits brilliant azure illumination with every swing. Striking with 50 base melee damage, its bright glow helps illuminate subterranean caverns while fending off lurking enemies in complete darkness.
Autoswing combat dynamics and prefix reforge
With a Very fast attack speed of 16 ticks, the Blue Phasesaber features automatic continuous swinging, forming a rapid defensive wall against swarming bats and subterranean crawlers. Unlike its pre-Hardmode predecessor, it keeps pace with early Hardmode cavern threats without requiring rare mob drops. It also serves as an accessible melee sidearm while farming souls in the Underground Hallow. The Legendary prefix provides the finest performance upgrade, granting bonuses to damage, swing speed, size, and critical strike chance.
