The Greater Mana Potion is an arcane beverage purchased from the Wizard for 5 silver each once he has been rescued in Hardmode. It also drops in stacks from Biome Mimics. Drinking this potion instantly restores 200 mana, fueling intensive magical weapon usage.
Sustained Magic Rotations and Mana Sickness
Using the potion triggers the Mana Sickness debuff, temporarily reducing magic damage output before gradually returning to normal. In addition to direct combat consumption, it serves as the essential component for brewing Super Mana Potion bottles alongside Fallen Stars and Ectoplasm.
Trivia
Purchasing stacks of this draught directly from the Wizard is significantly faster than gathering components to brew lower tier mana mixtures.
