True Excalibur is crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil by combining Excalibur with twenty-four bars of Chlorophyte Bar. Rather than firing a separate projectile beam, each swing projects an expansive golden aura slash. The weapon strikes for 72 base melee damage with 4.5 knockback, hitting multiple foes in a broad frontal arc and damaging enemies through solid walls with its wide luminous reach.

Alongside True Night's Edge and a Broken Hero Sword, True Excalibur is a required ingredient for forging the iconic Terra Blade. Compared to the heavier, projectile-spinning True Night's Edge, True Excalibur swings noticeably faster and offers tighter defensive coverage around the player's hitbox. Its high speed and broad aura make it an exceptional defensive sword against swarming dungeon foes. The Legendary modifier is the ideal prefix, providing top upgrades to damage, swing speed, and critical strike chance.
