Fishron Wings

Ocean boss reward and unimpeded liquid movement

Dropped by Duke Fishron with a 6.67% chance in Classic mode and 10% from Expert mode Treasure Bags. Fishron Wings carry an intrinsic trait that negates movement slowdown in liquids, granting full flight propulsion and run acceleration while submerged in water, honey, or lava. This liquid immunity removes the requirement for specialized flipper accessories or diving gear when traversing flooded subterranean caves and temple flooded chambers.

Vertical clearance and Moon Lord preparation

Providing 180 ticks of flight time with a vertical ascent reaching 248 ft and a top horizontal speed of 41 mph, Fishron Wings offer remarkable mobility among pre-Lunar equipment. Their vertical climbing speed multiplier of 2 allows swift escapes from chasing bosses like the Empress of Light. Equipping them alongside Amphibian Boots enhances vertical ascent speed even further during late-game progression, while their high horizontal cap simplifies dodging chaotic boss projectile patterns.

Trivia

• Fishron Wings allow the player to fly through honey without suffering movement sluggishness.
• In Expert mode, Duke Fishron drops these wings inside his Treasure Bag with a 10% drop chance.
