Because they arrive directly as a quest prize, they bypass all crafting requirements, eliminating the need to gather feathers, souls, or anvil crafting stations. Angling enthusiasts who consistently complete daily orders can acquire them shortly after the Wall of Flesh falls.

Mid-tier flight stats and aerial gliding

When equipped in an accessory slot, Fin Wings grant steady flight and slow descent by holding the jump button, alongside protection against impact damage upon landing. Their flight duration and horizontal velocity match early Hardmode craftable wing variants such as Frozen Wings and Harpy Wings. The streamlined fish fin profile offers a slim visual silhouette that does not obscure player armor pieces. Combining them with the Amphibian Boots enhances vertical ascent speed during arena skirmishes against cavern foes.
