Beetle Wings

Post-Golem forging and warrior synergy

Crafted at a Mythril Anvil or Orichalcum Anvil using 8 Beetle Husk and 20 Soul of Flight. Beetle Husks drop consistently from Golem inside the Jungle Temple, making these wings straightforward to assemble once the boss is conquered. They match the chitinous theme of Beetle Armor, supplying heavy melee warriors with reliable airborne repositioning without needing rare drop luck from chaotic invasions.

Flight capabilities and lunar pillar mobility

Delivering 170 ticks of flight duration, an ascent ceiling of 182 ft, and 38 mph horizontal velocity, Beetle Wings provide the necessary airtime to evade grounded enemies during the Solar and Vortex Lunar Pillars. Combining them with Terraspark Boots allows melee fighters to maintain momentum while engaging flying Martian enemies or dodging Golem laser beams. Their dependable flight duration permits prolonged aerial circling above aggressive ground mobs while swinging broadswords or flails.

Trivia
